Kampot Sweet Boutique

We are so happy we picked this place! Only good things to report :) Very comfortable, with lovely (& large) rooms located on 2 floors around a nice swimming pool. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the centre/river (by scooter or tuktuk). But as it is out of the hustle of the town, you can hear birds and the wind in the palm trees from your window. A great place to settle and relax. We stayed 2 weeks altogether across various reservations and I do recommend spending more than a couple of nights, as there is plenty to do around (mountain, sea, river, sports, dining, pepper plantation, lake, markets, etc) and still have time to relax by the pool. We did not have time to get bored. The bed is good (neither too hard nor to soft), as are pillows. Room service is very thorough. Breakfast is good, with a variation between a-la-carte and buffet days. It can get a bit repetitive over a long stay like ours and is not especially vegetarian or vegan friendly if you don’t ask for it. But they will cater for you upon request and are looking into improving their vegetarian offer. The swimming pool is large and very clean, and long enough for laps. Best of all is the staff, including receptionist Som Moniroth, who are always doing their best to help with any situation and resolve everyday issues promptly. Overall, Hillocks is great value for money and we will definitely come back if in Kampot again.

I always want a clean, comfy and quiet place and this hotel suits our needs and more. Over all the hotel is really clean and I was surprised that the pool was bigger than the photos. The pool is crisp! For the rooms our room was very big and it looked brand new. Everything was clean, air con working perfectly and the shower had good pressure and hot water! For tv you had Netflix. We had dinner and lunch at this place. Their chef cooks delicious food and I can really recommend trying out their meny. A plus in the book that guest can choose when to clean the rooms for the enviromental cause. The manager is a really nice and friendly person and does the little extra to make the guest feel welcome. I really loved that he took good care of the staff and made dinner for them one evening. If you can choose to meet the people at sweet boutique, book this place.

We stayed 3 nights at the Kampot Sweet Boutique hotel and we were very satisfied with everything. a very comfortable hotel with very complete facilities, the hotel owner was very kind to us as well as the hotel staff, especially the front office officer (Mr. Sophal) who was very friendly, the breakfast menu was also very delicious. The hotel also helped us take the hotel vehicle if we wanted to go to the city center. Thank you very much to Mr. Mr BUNHIENG who gave a beautiful surprise for my husband on his birthday and for his kindness took us from the hotel to the Giant IBIS bus office.

It was a wonderful three-day visit from beginning to end! From the welcome and checkin by the delightful Som, I was made to feel warmly welcome by all staff. The hotel sits like a peaceful island away from the busy town center. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle rides to guests wishing to visit the sights in town. The rooms are clean, and the beds are so comfortable! The onsite cafe and bar offer a variety of Khmer and foreign options.

I had a wonderful weekend stay at Kampot Sweet Boutique Resort. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance made for a truly enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a serene retreat in Kampot!
